MUSICAL PROJECTS I'M INVOLVED WITH:
It's… kinda hard to explain. It seems to run on some sort of electricity.
This is my funk/rock/pop cover band. We do weddings and festivals and stuff. It's a real gas.
This is the jazz group I play with. We do originals and creative arrangements of standards from many traditions. Check us out!
Becky sings beautifully and writes great songs. I play keyboards with her. Sometimes we go all-acoustic, and sometimes I add some of my electronic gear. In addition to her awesome originals, we do creative arrangements of pop songs and standards.
This is a really fun Journey tribute band. It's almost like being at a real Journey show!
Randi is a great singer I often play with. I got to record on her new album, Falling. It's quite lovely.
The best improvising cellist in the world, and a friend of mine. In Karmadog and elsewhere, we have made some really great music together.
Becky's main website. Check out her albums, which are all originals!
My favorite R&B a capella group. Old friends of mine.
A great percussionist, composer, and friend.
WHAT KIND OF MUSIC DOES PAGEL LISTEN TO?
A really great Noise-punk band from Tokyo.
A composer of great melodies and awesome endings.
A really great band that I love.
A composer of music that is extraordinarlily beautiful (regardless of what you teachers tell you).
The Godiva Chocolate of J-Pop.
Electronic musician from Eastern Europe.
In my opinion, she's the George Gershwin of Japan.
Trent Reznor is, of course, great (even though I SWEAR he copied some of my synth sounds).
Other Noteworthy Interwebs:
This is the best place to get indie music. They help out artists a lot, so shop here first.
Another great website for discovering new music and musicians. Better than SoundCloud.
Not as good as BandCamp.
Where I live. Great place to visit. Gome see Acoustic Fest, Metrojam, Sputnikfest, and lots of other strange and wonderful things that go on here.
Where I work as a substitute teacher. Also where my kids go to school. A great place in a beautiful town.
Still where I go on the net when I need to smile.
